In our tough job, we like to have some solid points on which to rely and which are not too controversial. We live all day in the blur - blur of pronouncements and intentions of patients, medical knowledge blur, blur clinical examination, fuzzy regulation - but a few oases of clarity seemed to exist. First, the journal Prescrire that irritates with both its rigor and determination to show us what to do with good medicine is a continual questioning, but also recommendations we are opposed to any problems or forensic more often in conflicts with physicians of safety tips.
In France, the best known and most respected are those of the High Authority of Health, an agency of state supposed to put some order into the cacophony. I trained in this institution to guide my Brothers in the evaluation of their practices and I was quite seduced by the rhetoric and methods.
Unfortunately, once again, the almighty money is there, represented as often in the health community by pharmaceutical companies. And now the reco ... dations of the HAS become reco ... birth belly experts in the pay of the labs. The
Formindep should be declared of public utility, allowing us to collect the back of the cards that seem beveled.
