Testimony came to my GBU

"To the question" why is it that I went to the GBU? "I would say first of all because it's been awhile since I had heard and that I 'd really want to discover and participate in these meetings students around the Bible. I do not know anyone because I had just arrived in Los Angeles for my studies. But curiosity was stronger than my shyness and I was not disappointed because I've been very well received. Some students are also in the same situation as me and discover the GBU in this new academic year.

Then I must say that this experience is very rewarding for me. In fact, I had not so far been used, nor the opportunity to share my views and feelings which sprang from a reading of biblical texts. I often read a very "docile" in the Bible. Confrontation with other points of view in debates, always busy, helped me understand how the diversity of our interpretations and experiences of everyone suddenly could enlighten my mind a verse or a chapter which I was once very few remained obscure. Or rather, sometimes it leads me to reflect on the meaning I put on some words that others have understood differently.

In general, it is always a pleasure to meet each week, all these new friends with whom to invest our faith everyday life in the universe that is so rich and especially that of factors and studies. "

From January 23 to 25, thirty GBUssiens the Central West region met in Chatellerault to have a great weekend together. All groups were represented in the region : Orleans, Tours, Angers, Poitiers, La Rochelle. Lacked only the youngest of the region: GBU Limoges, but for them it is only a postponement!
During this weekend, Yohan reminded us what the three essential oils and necessary to maintain the faith of a Christian, namely:
- Listen and meditate on the Bible
- PRAY
God - seeking communion with our brothers and sisters

This whole weekend was punctuated by moments of sharing and relaxing to do better know all GBUssiens the present. That side of the weekend was filled with both birthdays on the first night, walk into Chatellerault and evening games including a blind test series of songs or movies for Saturday, not to mention the preparation of meals and dishes where boys and girls are all in the kitchen.

In return, as stories to tell those who could not attend and therefore eagerly await the next weekend to experience these wonderful moments!
